Keith Wilson (1927-2009) was a native New Mexican who published more than two dozen books of poetry. He was a was a Navy combat veteran of the Korean War, a New Mexico State University teacher for many years, and recipient of numerous awards, including a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship (to Romania).
He published two dozen books and chapbooks with many small presses, including his noteworthy While Dancing Feet Shatter the Earth (Utah State University Press, 1978).
