Submissions to TheLimberlost Review:
Prospective contributors may submit poems, stories, essays, and re-readings as Word docs attached to an email. The Limberlost Review is a literary annual and deadlines for submissions vary. Queries prior to submission are welcome at editors[at]Limberlostpress.com. The editors encourage queries especially for essays and re-readings of great books that contributors believe deserve renewed attention.
Prospective contributors may submit up to five poems for consideration. Word count for essays and re-readings generally range from 1,500-2,500 words, though some essays often run a little longer. Short stories average about 3,000-3,500 words, some run longer.
The Limberlost Review is a “Literary Journal of the Mountain West.” However, contributors from all over the country are welcome to submit work for consideration.
We strongly recommend that prospective contributors read an edition or two before submitting work for consideration.
Submissions of book and chapbook manuscripts:
We tend to solicit most manuscripts for book and chapbook publication. However, queries are welcome.
