A collection of quiet etudes of the poet’s deep love of place, his home in the mountains near Pocatello, Idaho, solitary conversations with the stars, hawks, the winter night, his muse.

Harald Wyndham (1946-2018) was the author of two dozen books of poetry. He was a literary force in southeast Idaho as a writer and small press publisher for four decades as editor/publisher of Blue Scarab Press, a small press that over the years published books by Bruce Embree, Ford Swetnam, Steven Puglisi, Leslie Leek, Andra Hansen, Janne Goldbeck, Edson Fichter, and many other writers from the southeast Idaho region. In addition, he edited a series of two-poet chapbooks, referred to as “The Pocatello Blend” series featuring works by poets with ties to southeast Idaho.
